L’Ecole, the Kinnelon Museum began as a one-room schoolhouse built in 1873. It also served as a meeting place where the Borough of Kinnelon was officially incorporated in 1922. L’Ecole is historically significant because it was the home and office of Dr. Helen Miller, an early practicing physician in Kinnelon. Dr. Miller was a pioneer in women’s health and oncology and one of the earliest advocates of female cancer screening. In 1990 Dr. Miller bequeathed her property to the borough to be utilized as a museum preserving and displaying items of historical significance to the Borough of Kinnelon.

L’Ecole, the Kinnelon Museum is open Saturdays and Sundays 12-4pm throughout the year.

May 3 at 2pm, Lecture: Revolutionary Iron: The Story of Charlotteburg.

This year's Pathways tour features topics of discussion established annually by the New Jersey Historical Commission (NJHC).
